How does CoolSculpting work?CoolSculpitng uses the technology of Cryolipolysis, which is a method of fat freezing. The simple science behind CoolSculpting is that controlled cooling can target and eliminate fat cells without damaging the surrounding skin and tissue. This works as fat cells freeze at a higher temperature than their surrounding cells.Coolsculpting uses a pack to deliver controlled cooling to a targeted area of fat cells for one hour. During this time the fat cells freeze, causing them to die. Over time the body naturally removes these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you; and a very simple way to lose belly fat and more.

Which areas of the body are CoolSculpting appropriate for?CoolSculpting is FDA approved for the treatment of fat bulges in the thighs, under the chin, on the belly, back, love handles and under the bum. CoolSculpting is not suitable for treating obesity.

When can I resume my daily activities?CoolSculpting is completely non-surgical, and so most people can return to normal activities immediately following a treatment. As there can be redness or slight swelling, if your treatment is on a visible area of your body such as under your chin, you may prefer to go home following the treatment rather than back to work.

What Results can I expect from CoolSculpting?An average of about 20% fat reduction is seen per treatment, and more than one treatment is recommended to see optimum results. How long is a CoolSculpting treatment?Each area to be treated requires one hour with the CoolSculpting pack. Therefore, under the chin would take 30-40 minutes, whereas both thighs could take two hours or more.
